If you watched our latest Quick Strike AAR video, covering the Battle of Elchingen in the Ulm campaign, then perhaps you'd like to try playing that same scenario at home? You're in luck! The exact scenario we used in the video is available for you right here, courtesy of the gang at LWTV! This scenario is designed for the rules Lasalle 2, written by Sam Mustafa, but you could always adapt it for your preferred game system. ![]()

Today is the official public launch of our Tombstone Tinderbox starter box! Pop over to YouTube for an in-depth look at exactly what's inside the box or click here to go to the product page in the LWTV shop. If you're a fan of Little Wars TV then you know that we here in the club are fans of giving you free stuff. And today we're excited to unveil not one but TWO free Wild West scenarios you can try at home. The scenarios themselves are now posted for free PDF download, and you can already find the Ruthless game rules for free here, as well!
If you saw our Alfred the Great episode yesterday, maybe you'd like to try playing those two linked games at home! We have both scenarios available on our new Ravenfeast website. Just click into the "Scenarios" section (RIGHT HERE) and the games you saw us play in the episode are "Capture the King!" and "Burn the Longship!" You can download the game rules for free, as well!
Did you watch our 75th anniversary Berlin wargame, featuring legendary East Front historian David Glantz? How would you and your friends like to race for the Reichstag and test your mettle in the final, desperate days of Berlin's fall? We worked with Aaron over at Project Wargaming to run this scenario and Aaron graciously sent along his game notes. In this free PDF scenario you'll find the map, orders of battle, quick reference tables, random event cards, and everything you need to play the same game we ran on Little Wars TV. As always, all of our episode scenarios are provided to our "Free Stuff" page members right here! Thanks guys! *Disclaimer: The stunning 3D printed tabletop and lovely GHQ miniatures are not included with this free PDF. ![]()
Did you watch our multi-table Red Baron wargame this week and wonder if you and your friends have what it takes to be knights of the sky? We played this scenario with Wings of Glory for an easy, fast-play experience but you could use our scenario framework with any set of rules you prefer. Go ahead and download a free PDF of the exact game we ran at the club to try at home. We're also including a high-resolution image file you could get printed out for a big table map if you want (it's not required for the game, though).
Did you watch our St. Nazaire wargame and wonder how you and your mates might have fared in "the greatest raid of all?" You're in luck! We're giving away the scenario--complete with orders of battle, special rules, and our map--so that you can try this game at home. A copy of the Bolt Action rules from Warlord Games would be useful, though you could certainly tweak the scenario for use with other rule systems, as well. Fans of the channel may recall that we've also played Chain of Command, Disposable Heroes, and Combat Patrol! As always, THANK YOU for joining the Free Stuff page! Now what are you waiting for? Go set up a harbor and land some British commandos! ![]()
Did you watch our amazing First Manassas wargame and wonder how you would fare as Irvin McDowell? Or perhaps you wanted to try your luck as PGT Beauregard and see if you could repeat history? Members of our "Free Stuff" page have that chance right now! We're offering you the same scenario we played in Episode #206, which includes a large theater map for pre-battle maneuvering. You also get the Fire & Fury base labels, full orders of battle, and all the necessary background information to set up your own game. This scenario leaves an independent game master a great deal of discretion and latitude to interpret map movements into a tabletop set-up! ![]()

Are you ready to test your mettle against the oncoming Zulus swarming over the hills? Or perhaps you want to unleash the "horns of the buffalo" to crush the thin British line and wash your spears in blood! As always, we're offering you the chance to play the exact scenario you watched on Little Wars TV with your friends at home. This particular game requires some tweaks to the mechanics of The Men Who Would Be Kings, a set of skirmish rules from Osprey Games that Steve turned into a mass battle system. In addition to the scenario below, be sure to also download Steve's rule revisions! You will need both PDFs to play our scenario. UPDATE (11/13/19) We've also added the quicker, Quick Reference Sheet we use to play MWWBK in our club! This version fills in the gaps missing from the official QRS in the book and is our condensed version of a QRS we found online, made by "Arteis02". ![]()

If you watched our massive Trafalgar wargame, you might be thinking about tackling this scenario with some of your mates. Normally, the Free Stuff page is where we would post the orders of battle, map, and rules for you to play exactly what we played. But this is a scenario we purchased from Starboard Tack Press on Wargames Vault! It wouldn't be appropriate to copy and post that scenario here, especially when it's available at the incredibly reasonable price of $3.50. We'd rather you support this small, independent publisher by paying for a copy! It's well worth it. What we can post for you is a copy of the base labels Miles made our game--you are welcome to download the Excel file and use these for your ships! ![]()
Did you watch our epic D-Day wargame on YouTube to see if the Germans could throw back the allied invasion of Normandy? Do you think you could muster a stronger defense as the Germans? Or perhaps you think you could capture Carentan, Bayeux, and Caen by the end of D+1 as the allies? This free PDF scenario allows you to play the scenario seen in Episode 202, using Rommel. In order to make the game scale large enough to handle this massive operation, we had to make a few tweaks to the rules. These minor revisions allow you to use the "Rommel" rules for true operational wargaming. This half-page PDF supplement is also available below! You'll need it for this scenario but can also use it for designing other large-scale operations. ![]()
