Play the Ulm 1805 Scenario!

If you watched our latest Quick Strike AAR video, covering the Battle of Elchingen in the Ulm campaign, then perhaps you'd like to try playing that same scenario at home? You're in luck! The exact scenario we used in the video is available for you right here, courtesy of the gang at LWTV! This scenario is designed for the rules Lasalle 2, written by Sam Mustafa, but you could always adapt it for your preferred game system.

Hi, I'm new on napoleonics wargames... i'm complit lost what to but how much miniature i'll need to play the battle of Bussaco. With you guys can help me. I want play with 6mm miniatures. A video teaching how to ready a battle list of a army and translate that to miniature will help a lot new players. Thank you Antonio

It really depends on your choices and the game system in question.

First things first, the most important thing are bases. Any base size is okay, as long as both sides use the same and you adjust the values accordingly.

For example, I find, that the most generally used base sizes can fit around 6-8 6mm figures at full, so you can calculate the amount of figures needed based on this and how many bases you need.

I don't recommend making the largest battle immediately and you can always adjust the base sizes and number of minifigures (for example using just 4 figures per normal base, or making the base smaller and everything else smaller. I personally prefer to do some of that so I need less work and money to do the same).

With 6mm figures a few hundred figures are generally required, even in relatively small battles.
