We're officially wrapping up our Tombstone series with an in-depth discussion about the historical firearms used in the Shootout at the OK Corral. Chal and Tony sit down to talk about black powder weapons, one of the few Old West personalities who was known to make time for target practice, why Doc Holliday dropped his shotgun, and much more. Today is the official public launch of our Tombstone Tinderbox starter box! Pop over to YouTube for an in-depth look at exactly what's inside the box or click here to go to the product page in the LWTV shop. If you're a fan of Little Wars TV then you know that we here in the club are fans of giving you free stuff. And today we're excited to unveil not one but TWO free Wild West scenarios you can try at home. The scenarios themselves are now posted for free PDF download, and you can already find the Ruthless game rules for free here, as well!
Hopefully by now you've seen our 5-table, narrative Tombstone game on YouTube! This episode blends some RPG elements with historical wargaming in a very fun way. In the episode we used two different sets of homebrew rules. One of those sets, Ruthless, is written by Mark Fastoso and he's generously agreed to give them away for free! We love playing this game in our club and were thrilled when Mark stepped up with his offer. You can download the game from his site, Fireball Forward, or right here on LWTV. In the coming weeks we'll also be rolling out free scenario content for Ruthless!
And if you want to learn more about this 2-page game, next week we're bringing you a review on the channel. Throughout the month of April and into May we have a ton of free game support coming out to help you get into the Wild West spirit. Very few figures and very little table space is required to run these Old West shootouts, so go ahead and give it a shot at home with your friends! |
