God's Own Scale Podcast

We've had podcast fever these last few months, with several members of the club appearing as guests on various hobby podcasts. The podcast train rolls onward this week, and we're happy to support a brand new show called "God's Own Podcast," focusing on the 6mm scale. We certainly do our share of 6mm wargaming here in the club, so it was only natural that Greg would join Sean for a chat about Altar of Freedom, what it takes to produce an episode of Little Wars TV, and what might be in store for the future of the channel.

Greg (and guys),

listened to the Podcast and it got me thinking about broader participation at conventions. That got me thinking about the Gettysburg interactive game. Here's a "blue sky" idea...

Pre - play out a game and this time stop at several "decision points" and ask the paying attendee's to vote on options. Pre play out each option to the next decision and so on. So before arriving at the Con you have every "choose your own adventure" option played out. No play actually happens - you just set the new situation up based on the options most favoured. Fatigue, the oob's are all very visable. Wink, wink, but a pile of copies of the rules are available for sale right next door. With a few ipads around the table the attendee could swipe an entry barcode and enter their choice. Maybe get your vote in and every 45 mins or an hour the table moves to the next development.

It sounds like it might be a better option for the Poms (Brits - I'm Aussie) as they seem to just have demo games. But it is something you guys could actually "export" that might also help out a bit with funding?

Just a thought.
