In early September we'll be rolling out the third episode of the season, and it's going to be a truly impressive display! The guys at the club re-fight what may be the most famous naval battle in history, complete with flashing cannon markers, billowing smoke, and period hats. You know how we like hats around here! We hope you'll join us for a glorious day on the high seas.

Oh my! This is going to be incredible. There had better be a two minute tutorial for the notoriously awesome glowing cannon smoke or there will be a riot.

Trafalgar 1805 - We did this naval battle with ALL 60 SOL's (27 Brits & 33 French/Spanish) using the Red & Blue Ships (sails) from the old MB "Broadside" games on a blue sea ping-pong sized table with cotton smoke (no flashing ) at local KC Mo. Cons - it got on the local news here ! It took about "4 games worth of SAILS" to set up the masts on the ships - MB "Broadside" is available on EBAY for about $20-$30 each "game" ! The red/blue ships are plastic and we mounted them on blue card stock with ship name labels. Waiting to see yours there.

Trafalgar 1805 - 60 Ships Sailing Battle - I've seen this battle done before at various conventions with different "rules" and different "ships" ! The people have used "lead" ship models (Navwar/GHQ) , those paper card ships ("Pirates" card-packs/ 2 ships per pack) or even "plastic masted sailing ships" ( MB "Pirates LIFE" / "Viktory 2" etc.) . See www.Recruits-Con.com Sept 28 event-list ( KC Mo.)
