Rule Review Scoring
Any attempt to rate or score a set of wargaming rules is bound to be a very subjective exercise. Our club attempted to create a consistent set of categories with distinct criteria to compare different games. While we do not all agree on our favorite set of rules, we can agree that certain categories are more important to evaluate than others. Our scoring system rates each category from 1-10.
WHAT DO THE SCORES MEAN? Because of the math in a weighted system, quality rules often appear with what seem to be low numerical scores. It's quite hard for any review to yield above 90 points, for example. When looking at the scores, consider the following:
