Did you watch the short preview of our Siege of Carthage wargame on YouTube? Are you wondering if Hasdrubal managed to hold back the final Roman push into the inner city?

For the first time ever, we have a battle episode available only to our "Free Stuff" page members! Thanks for signing up for the free bonus content we make available here, and we hope you enjoy this mini-episode. It's about half the length of our standard 20+ minute episodes, but we'll still walk you through the history and causes of the Third Punic War before getting to the game and showing you what happened as our three players tried to rewrite history.

Stop back here early next week for a preview of Episode #107. We're going back to the horse and musket era for a showdown of "revolutionary" proportions!

Hey Guys, you know that's not a siege, right?

It's an assault.

Yes, that's why the opening 30 seconds of the episode outline the scenario as the end of the two year siege, when Scipio made his final drive into the city.

Very interesting to see how a siege or the assault works. But I asked myself if there was a chance for Carthage to win the fight. Maybe they performed better than historicaly and certainly better than in the italian film with young Mario Girotti in the frontline (sic!) but with mostly militia it's not easy to imagine some sort of victory. Nevertheless I learned that it is sometimes entertaining to game even if you learned during the game that no other result than the historical is possible and to change the scenario would change the Event not to the better.

Thank you for all your efforts! Great stuff!

Wow great set up and very entertaining. The 6mm armies look very impressive! I may have gone down that route if I hadn't already amassed a large collection of 20mm figures.
