If you're of a certain generation, you may know this game as Milton Bradley's "Shogun." Slightly younger gamers will remember it as "Samurai Swords." And the youngest among you have probably only heard of "Ikusa!" All three are the same game, played on the same map of Japan (but with slightly different artwork). When we play this game in the club, we're fond of using a number of fan-made updates and house rules. The optional rules we enjoy are available here as a free PDF. The event cards are probably our single favorite optional rules, as they add a ton of flavor and new depth to the gameplay!
