Our penultimate episode premieres in mid-February, and members of our "Free Stuff" page can get an exclusive sneak peak right here! We're using one of the most popular World War 2 rule sets on the market to play a famous 1942 engagement. Can you guess which one from looking at the tabletop?
Just TWO episodes remain in our second season. Yes, we know Season One was ten episodes, but it did take us two years to produce that season. We've managed to pull off our second season in half the production time, and when it's all said and done, the total video run time will be almost exactly as long as the first. Our episodes, on average, have gotten longer in the second season. Our penultimate episode premieres in mid-February, and members of our "Free Stuff" page can get an exclusive sneak peak right here! We're using one of the most popular World War 2 rule sets on the market to play a famous 1942 engagement. Can you guess which one from looking at the tabletop?

Raid on St. Nazarrine - a "simplified layout " version ? I'm going by the "blue water ares" in the pictures and the "ship" picture...just a guess but there was a "coastal raid" by the Canadians too where all the landing skills were tested. Also that "raid" on the German radar at the coat - WELL I guess that's " 3 guesses " (opps ) !

Must be St Nazaire based on the monochrome photo of Germans standing on the bow of the ship. Very ambitious of the commandos and little wars.

That warship was a destroyer his campletown. It was packed with explosives that were hidden on board. It's ridden up on the gates of one of the few drydocks big enough to take the Bismarck and Tirpitz. Those Germans don't know it's on a timer to blow up lots of them were killed whilst aboard looking for souvenirs. At the moment they think the British have been a bit daft trying to ram the drydock gates with a small destroyer......

The raid on St Nazaire was one of Churchill's many attempt's to take the war back to the Nazis.

I too remember a comic book from the 60's - I think it was called COMBAT - which showed the "Battle of Midway" in a historical level - pre-planning, the pre-movement, attack on Midway Island, US air counter-strikes/ Japan airstrikes back, sub attacks, withdraw ! A very enjoyable read for a 12 year old at the time.

Cool board; I’m excited!! I’m curious why you chose “It’s a Long, Long Way to Tipperary” as the music?

It's just a great British marching tune, that's all! Obviously it is not as associated with WW2, since it was written before WW1. But we wanted something upbeat and period-appropriate for the trailer!

Watch the movie ‘ The Gift Horse’ about the raid on St Nazaire and the destruction of the Dock Gates . Staring Trevor Howard , Richard Attenborough and James Donald . Released in the US as ‘ Glory at Sea’ 1954 , if I remember it was a converted US Destroyer ( land lease) and converted into looking like a German Destroyer and after the War was over it was described as the most important raid of the war . It stopped Nazi germany using the French deep Dock for the Tirpits . Regards Davie 👍

Love the battle report video of st nazaire one criticism though the picture of hms campletown was an mtb not the American 4 funneled destroyer. Figures and terrain fantastic though
