Episode 204 Preview

Boy, it feels like a long time since our last main episode premiered! And it has been a bit longer than usual, but that's in part because Episode 204 is such special one. We posted a little teaser trailer on YouTube that spoils the subject matter, but we don't want to ruin the surprise behind what makes this episode so unique. To discover that, you'll have to watch it for yourself!

In the meantime, exclusively for our Free Stuff page members, here are a few behind the scenes photos from filming day! This game was played on a custom 6'x4' tabletop in spectacular, 6mm scale using Baccus's Colonial range.

God's Own Scale Podcast

We've had podcast fever these last few months, with several members of the club appearing as guests on various hobby podcasts. The podcast train rolls onward this week, and we're happy to support a brand new show called "God's Own Podcast," focusing on the 6mm scale. We certainly do our share of 6mm wargaming here in the club, so it was only natural that Greg would join Sean for a chat about Altar of Freedom, what it takes to produce an episode of Little Wars TV, and what might be in store for the future of the channel.

Results of the Survey

As part of our first birthday giveaway, we asked you a one-question survey about how we can make this channel sustainable. For us, that means covering the basic expenses of running this operation and somehow finding a way to hire a part-time video editor. We really need some help in that department for Little Wars TV to have a future, and you gave us lots of great feedback. This lengthy post digs into the responses you gave and sheds some light on our next steps.

Episode 203 Preview

In early September we'll be rolling out the third episode of the season, and it's going to be a truly impressive display! The guys at the club re-fight what may be the most famous naval battle in history, complete with flashing cannon markers, billowing smoke, and period hats. You know how we like hats around here! Want to know what's coming up next on Little Wars TV? As a member of the Free Stuff page we're pulling back the curtain on Episode 202, our epic D-Day wargame. It's going to be a monster episode, played on a 12' long tabletop with seven players. Here on LWTV we go BIG, so we're fighting the entire landing through D+1, covering all five beaches and the paratrooper drop the night before. Season Two Production Changes

As we cryptically teased in our "Future of Little Wars TV" video this January, some changes are afoot in our production. These are not changes we plan to discuss in detail on YouTube, so we wanted to give you--our most engaged and interested viewers--a look behind the scenes.

In this post we'll talk about the ways Season Two will be different from the first. We'll also dig into some YouTube analytics to explain why we felt the need to make these adjustments to the program.
