How Can I Earn Medals?
When we started our Patreon campaign in September 2020, we launched a medal program as one of our rewards. Medals could be earned in various ways, including convention attendance, campaign participation, length of time as a patron. We also created some special limited edition medals for special events. As of March 2023, the medal program ended due to the production and shipping commitment required to service what became a massively popular reward program.
Will there ever be more medals?Maybe! That doesn't mean we'll never do a medal again...limited edition medals could still be on the horizon! But the ongoing, regular fulfillment has been decommissioned.

Official Medal List
CAESAR
(Limited Edition, 10 awarded) In 2021 Little Wars TV founded an annual award show to honor video, podcast, and blog creators in historical wargaming. Winners of a Caesar award in our inaugural year receive this medal, inscribed with the image of the most legendary social media star of his age, Gaius Julius Caesar. |
Antietam Star
(Length of Service, unlimited) The Antietam Star, inspired by Episode 101 of LWTV, features a star emblazoned with the letter "A" beneath Burnside's Bridge. If you're a fan of this episode, you know it as "Franklin's Bridge." You can choose between glittering blue or hammered silver! |
The BLUE MAX
(Limited Edition, convention attendance) If you meet us in-person a wargaming convention and you are proudly wearing any LWTV medal, the Blue Max will be awarded to you immediately. There is no other way to collect this medal except to attend a show and find us! |
PYRRHIC WAR CAMPAIGN MEDAL
(Limited Edition, 490 awarded) In 2021 we announced our first Little Wars TV campaign event, and all patrons who served the entire duration of the campaign as members of the Roman Senate (or as defectors to Pyrrhus!) can claim this Macedonian-themed honor. |
HERO of the PEOPLE
(Length of Service, unlimited) Patrons who quality for a "length of service" medal may choose Hero of the People, inspired by Ed's communist "revolutionary tips" from Episode 306, the Mekong River. |
